Built for Demanding Environments

Organizations depend on capable people to do more than get today’s work done. They need them to make good decisions, solve problems, think strategically, support one another, and have enough capacity available for whatever the work requires next.

When familiar work begins to require more time, effort, attention, recovery, or support, the organization is investing more human capacity to produce the same result, even while those results continue to look strong.

For organizations, the book can extend the keynote beyond the event, giving participants a resource they can return to as they recognize how pressure is affecting them, recover more effectively, and make different choices about how they respond.

For organizations, that means protecting the human capacity they rely on for sound decision-making, strategic thinking, effective collaboration, and sustained performance.

For more than two decades, Eliz has brought her research, relatable stories, humor, and practical approach to audiences in demanding environments, including professionals at NASA, CVS Health, the American Heart Association, UPS, and healthcare organizations across the country.

Three Keynotes.
One Body of Work.

Sometimes the challenge is recognizing when the capacity available to do familiar work has changed.

Sometimes uncertainty is consuming resources needed to think clearly and make decisions.

Sometimes sustained pressure is creating a physical burden even while performance remains strong.

Eliz’s three keynotes address those different realities through one body of work focused on protecting the capacity people and organizations rely on to perform.

What It Takes to Get It Done

Recognizing Capacity Signals Before They Affect Decisions and Performance

When familiar work begins to require more time, effort, attention, recovery, or support, the results may not reveal it.

This keynote offers audiences practical ways to recognize those changes, replenish their capacity, and protect the resources needed for sound decisions and sustained performance.

Best when: The work is getting done, but what it takes to produce those results may be changing.

Navigating Uncertainty

Protecting Decision Quality When Conditions Remain Unpredictable

Uncertainty creates work of its own, consuming attention and capacity even while the regular work still needs to get done.

This keynote gives audiences practical ways to recognize that impact, interrupt unproductive reactions, and move forward without waiting for certainty.

Best when: People need to make good decisions and keep moving while answers or conditions remain uncertain.

Stress-Proof Your Heart

Performing Under Pressure Without Paying for It Later

Sustained pressure can create a physical burden even while performance remains strong.

This keynote connects stress and heart health with practical ways to recognize that burden, replenish capacity, and make heart-healthy choices more realistic in demanding lives.

Best when: Heart health, women’s health, or the physical impact of sustained pressure is central to the event.

Meet Eliz

Eliz Greene knows what it is like to perform under pressure when the stakes are high.

At 35, while seven months pregnant with twins, she survived a heart attack that changed the direction of her life and eventually her work. What began as a determination to understand the connection between stress and heart health has grown into a body of work developed over more than two decades.

Her research has included an original study of more than 4,000 people on job stress, but Eliz is just as interested in what happens outside the data. Why does work that is usually manageable sometimes require significantly more effort? Why do capable people keep compensating without recognizing that their available capacity has changed? What do we wish we had noticed sooner?

Onstage, Eliz brings those questions to life through research, relatable stories, humor, and audience interaction. She makes complex ideas easy to recognize in everyday experience and gives people practical ways to respond that make sense in the reality of demanding work.

“A special thank you to Eliz Greene for an impactful and authentic presentation on navigating uncertainty. Your message resonated deeply and sparked meaningful conversations well beyond the room. I loved your storytelling and humor. You kept me fully engaged. Your book signing was also very generous.”

Stress-Proof Your Life

Eliz’s book Stress-Proof Your Life: High Performance Under Pressure draws on her research, including an original study of more than 4,000 people, to explore what drives stress, how sustained pressure affects the body, and practical ways to respond.

For organizations, the book can extend the keynote beyond the event, giving participants a resource they can return to as they recognize their own capacity signals, recover more effectively, and make different choices about how they respond to pressure.

Copies can be included with select speaking engagements.
